Tricia completed Artists Communities: A directory of residencies in the United States that offer time and space for creativity (Allworth Press, New York, NY; 2 editions: 1996 and 2000) when she was Executive Director of the Alliance of Artists’ Communities, with research support from Katherine Deumling, Miriam Feuerle, David Biespiel, and residency staff who filled out long and demanding questionnaires. Full acknowledgements to all those who made the book happen are on page ix in the excerpt. Stanley Kunitz wrote the preface for the book.
