Reading from NOT THE SAME ROAD OUT fiction anthology: Tricia Snell & Bev Vincent

Join Tricia and Bev at BLOCK SHOP BOOKS in Lunenburg, NS, for a reading from the anthology of stories that CBC recommends on its June list of “Books You Should Be Reading.”  The stories range from the physical to the emotional and metaphorical, and link writers and Trans Canada Trail travelers from every province and territory in Canada.

This reading focuses on Atlantic Canada, with Tricia’s story including Rum Runner’s Trail in Nova Scotia and Bev’s story including Fundy National Park in New Brunswick.

Join us at the jewel of a bookstore that is BLOCK SHOP BOOKS, for excerpt readings and conversation. We hope to see you there!

Celtic Session, Winter 2024-2025

Every Sunday this winter, Eilidh Campbell and a bunch of musician friends, including me—on fiddles, flutes, whistles, bodhrans, mandolins, banjos, guitars—gather at public house/cafe Eli & Trix to play Celtic music round a table in the back. 2-4pm, downtown Mahone Bay just across from the Independent. Please come for a listen—and an ale, latte, tea, hot cider, soup or sweet. This session will go through the winter to brighten the darker months. We hope to fill Sunday afternoons with joy and good cheer!
